So, as Marama has mentioned in her first post, Peter initiated a conversation, which sparked a challenge, which created a balm, and now we have a business. I wasn’t actually expecting that, but I love the process, when several people are part of the potential “thing”, and no one person can complete it. It takes a collaboration, a little bit from everyone to get to the point of achievement. It makes me think of plants, having an ability to heal more effectively when the whole plant part is used rather just the one active constituent. The little secrets hidden in the plants that science is only beginning to understand. And although we are thoroughly in love with Kawakawa, and have many reasons for choosing it as our foundation herb, there is no doubt that there are other plants and ingredients that will work in synergy with it too. A whole world of plants and their potential to heal.
This business making balm is in it’s infancy, and as a team we are all on a massive learning curve, our strengths and weaknesses are beginning to show, and we are having a great time navigating this process. You are now invited to observe our process as we are “live” online. Things might change a little in the website, as new products pop up, we plan to have specials and gift packs, regular blogs and educational snippets. We have lots of ideas for the future. I hope you enjoy our journey, we have plenty of ideas and thoughts and information to share!
